I loved the idea of the map being expanded by using ink (since you’re in a book, after all), and I enjoyed the designs on the cards. And luckily, the graphics during the actual gameplay continued to be very pretty. When the story was being told, I was focused mainly on how good and bright all the colors looked. I was absolutely crazy about the art style from the moment the intro started playing, and if we’re being totally fair: from the moment I laid eyes on the Steam page. The Roguebook Gem Mines update will have our heroic duo navigate through treacherous paths and a variety of death traps. These unique hazards will pose a considerable challenge to the heroes, and only the shrewdest adventurers will ultimately lay their hands on the extraordinary relics they conceal. These new hazards will pose a new challenge to the heroes, hiding the extraordinary relics concealed by them.
The update also brings new story events, treasures, gems, and cards. ROGUEBOOK GEM MINES UPDATEĪs well as the Gem Mines, this update adds new story events, treasures, gems and cards. Since our official PC release in June of last year, we’ve been constantly working on free content and feature updates for the game. To coincide with this update, an amazing contest is being held with the chance to win a legendary Magic: The Gathering TM card worth $20,000: the Black Lotus. Can´t see them on the map when the game starts. To enter the contest, entrants must create one original card for each of the heroes of Roguebook – Sharra, Sorocco, Seifer and Aurora – and submit these four cards on the contest’s website. I already bought the mines in the skilltree and it says that they are revealed at the start of the game.
Gems are valuable items that players can collect in Richard Garfield's Roguebook. After a community vote, a jury composed of Abrakam Entertainment’s developers and Richard Garfield – co-designer of Roguebook and creator of Magic: The Gathering TM – will pick the winner! The winning card will be included and playable in Roguebook. There are two different kinds: Gems and Flash Gems. Gems add a permanent bonus onto a card by crafting them.
